I found my way here via a post on another forum by one of your members who sounded as sane as me.  Maybe that was a mistake, but I think I would like to hang around and see how it goes.  If that's ok with ya'll.

Thanks for the welcome. So far, the forum looks like it's made up of similar/like minds so it should be fun. I am not from/in Tennessee, so I hope that is not a problem. People all across this nation have the same issues and it's nice to be able to exchange ideas and information. I think at some point we are all going to have to depend on each other more and more, and stop counting on the poor excuse for "leaders" we currently have in power.

I agree and tis the reason the staff came up with “A place for discussing important issues because the whole of life is learning, therefore education can have no endings” in the heading of the home page.

The problem most people now a days would rather do “one line” comment to an article or tweet in an attempt to have the cleverest/quick-witted post. More then this would require thought and use of the brain.

The liberally biased media is no help and want to keep low information voters as uninformed as possible. A Low Information Voter are uninformed people who vote, even though they have no idea whats going on in politics and these people do not associate Obama with any of the problems in the country. No matter what is said, no matter what evidence happens, no matter what's reported, it will not be possible to connect obama to the negativity that's happening in the country today because he's campaigning against it himself. That's the reason for the perpetual, never-ending campaign. It is why, in eight years, he will never allow himself for even one day to be seen as actually governing or presiding over any of this. He's always going to be running against the very things he's doing. This is the........
“Limbaugh Theorem”!

Most of these people (low information voters) are....... living off the government tit.....meaning.......

Literally, a low life that is able bodied, yet lives off government assistance. I.E. Welfare, WIC, Food Stamps etc. etc.

In the film Forrest Gump, Forrest asks Lt. Dan what he's doing now when he sees him for the first time after they arrive home. Lt. Dan, who has lost both legs and is confined to a wheelchair, states, "Living off the government tit."
The phrase is a reference to Lt. Dan's receiving a monthly stipen for the loss of his lower limbs.

In recent years, the term has a negative connotation and is often used to describe healthy welfare recipients that are able to work but choose not to because they are satisfied with their welfare checks for doing nothing. Living off the government tit is free ride for people who realize government cheese is preferable to gainful employment.

Statistically..........the people living off the government tit are the largest voter pool for the democratic party.
