I have lost the “ make a new folder” option in ...“My Documents”...WinXP-home edition-SP3.

First, make sure to heed hamluis' advice and back up your registry.

Open regedit exactly as you have pictured again (if you have not used regedit since that screenshot, it should open back there again, but make sure!)

You could not get better service even if you were paying for support service!!!

So, I recommend you visit the site ….http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ …...and become a member (it is free..good price) and see if they have answers to your computer problem already available or have to make a request like I had to did!!!
