The FairTax calculator is a tax estimation tool. In other words, it
will closely approximate your taxes under the FairTax and the current
income tax system, but it will estimate figures if you don't know
your exact income tax numbers yourself.
This version of the calculator does not handle the situation when the household
has both Social Security income and other income, making a
portion of social security income taxable depending on the amount of
other income. We hope to include that functionality in a future release.
