Peel the potatoes.. As many as you and your family want to eat.
Slice the potatoes....1/8 in slice is about right....
The total amount of butter and brown sugar depends on the amount of potatoes.
In a cast iron skillet...melt one stick of butter (add more if needed during the frying of the potatoes).
Now put the potatoes into the skillet and fry to a golden brown.
Now add brown sugar ...enough to make a syrup mixture of that will cover all potatoes in the bottom of the pan....more if you desire.
Continue cooking the potatoes until done....beware they are easy to burn.
Now enjoy...my favorite on Turkey day!
