1 1/2 quarts leaf lettuce
3 green onions, chopped
½ cup ... melted bacon grease.....use less than the ½ cup of grease if desired.


Heat to grease to boiling point and pour over lettuce.

Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss to mix.

Serve at once.
