What it does not show is the real unemployment numbers and if the unemployment were lowered to the full employment of about 4% unemployment then all of the numbers would improve drastically. Except for health care and obamcare has screwed that......see Obamacare defines 30-hour workweek below....

The “real” number of unemployed is 23.8 million. These are people that are unemployed, want work but have stopped searching for a job, or are working part-time because they can’t find full-time employment.
8.2 million Americans worked part-time because they could not find full-time employment, which makes January the 37th consecutive month that more than 8 million Americans wanted full-time employment but could only find part-time positions.
1.1 million Americans are so discouraged by the prospects of finding a job that they stopped looking for work, which is an increase of 155,000 people.

Obamacare defines 30-hour workweek as full time...

The IRS rule is key because companies with more than 50 full-time employees must provide health insurance under Obamacare, or be fined. Business groups have been warning that small companies might try to replace full-time workers with part-time help to avoid being forced to offer health insurance in 2014, but the 30-hour full-time definition is likely to undermine those plans.


So now you have to cut your employees hours to below thirty if you want to keep them as part time employees. But the work they used to do will still be there, requiring more workers which will add a financial burden and because of added financial burden......

Workers must prepare to be laid-off and also know how to survive a layoff, because it’s much more cost-effective to just let a worker go (wages, benefits and all) than to reduce hours across the board.

This is the worst recovery that we have seen from a recession since Hoover. And President Obama wants to take credit for things getting better, he’s in fact made things worse. He’s made this recovery take much longer, but, will our economy get better someday?
