In Ayurveda, old age is called ‘Vardhakya’. Ayurvedic texts, which consider the human body a mixture of vata, pitta and kapha doshas/humours, also state that during old age, vata dosha will be aggravated in the body which in turn leads to various health disorders. Ayurveda has come up with effective treatments for curbing the vata dosha in the old. This alternative medical system is considered one of most suitable healthcare systems for the aged as the treatments involved in it will not generate any side effect in the patient.

In Kerala, a majority of the aged population prefers Ayurvedic hospitals or practitioners than allopathic doctors, thanks to the efficacy of the Ayurvedic treatments and its qualities. The anti-aging therapies like Rasayana therapy in Ayurveda seem to attract even a lot of foreigners to this land. The Rasayana therapy rejuvenates the tissues in the body, calms down the nerves and strengthens the bones. It provides a boost to the immune system and thus prevents the attack of further diseases. In short, all the procedures together in Rasayana therapy help beat the old-age-related diseases and keep the youthful spirit in even the aged.

So, are you above 60 and feel aged? Come to ayurveda kerala and enjoy a comprehensive anti-aging Ayurvedic treatment.
