I built a omni direction tv antenna with
materials that were lying around that I had gather over the years. I
just laid it on top of the house and it receives an excellent picture.
Although there are 75+foot trees all around the house. We are 50-75
miles from the tv stations. Channels received are 2-1, 2-2, 2-3,
6-1,7-1.7-2,8-1,8-2,10-1,10-2,15-1,15,2,15-3,20-1,43-1,43-2,48-1,54-1,54-2,54-3.


Materials use.....

Solid 4 awg - Bare Copper 18ft

A 75/300 Ohm Matching Transformer which converts 75 ohm coaxial cable
input to 300 ohm UHF/VHF/FM twin-lead output to components. Convert
outdoor antenna connection to coaxial cable input.

3/4'' pvc pipe - 11ft

two- machine bolt, 10-24 x 2'', with nuts and washers.

I am about ready to do the same thing. Direct just went up on bill by $10.00. I really don't have any use for more stations than I get over the air the only ones I watch are 8 and pbc.
