It's the best of both worlds: The new Windows eXPerience Mode lets you run older Windows eXPerience business software right on your Win 7 desktop.
Win 7 Professional cost $40 more than Win 7 Home Premium and to me it was a well spent $40 because I did not have to purchase a new printer and new scanner. My printer and scanner would not work with Win 7 only with Win XP.
Designed primarily with small- and medium-sized businesses in mind, Windows eXPerience Mode comes as a separate download and
works only with Win Seven Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise. Windows eXPerience Mode also requires virtualization software such as Windows Virtual PC. Both are available free on the Microsoft website.
