| GOP candidates include Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey, Congressman Zach Wamp, Shelby County District Attorney General Bill Gibbons and Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam.
Campaigning for the Democratic Party nomination are state Senate Minority Leader Jim Kyle, Jackson businessman Mike McWherter and former House Democratic leader Kim McMillan.
Has anyone sorted this mess out yet?
I can not decide who lies the least!
Ideas??

| Can't decide who lies the least? I know its tongue-in-cheek but when you think about it, they DO all lie to get elected, then they lie some more to stay elected.
And so y'all are going to vote FOR one of them??
Why? |

Wamp weaves tangled webOn the campaign trail, Wamp has taken credit for companies like Wacker Chemie AG and Volkswagen opening factories in the area, making no mention of the economic incentives and tax breaks Gov. Phil Bredesen and the state legislature created to attract the businesses. http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2010/jun/01/wamp-weaves-tangled-web/ |

http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2010/jun/01/wamp-weaves-tangled-web/ Mike McWherter ...On The Issues Illegal Immigration....has no statement concerning this...Wonder why????? Opposing the income tax. Over the years, Tennessee has proven that state government can live without an income tax. Mike will preserve the Volunteer State's low-tax climate. HEALTH CARE.....Working with Washington. Collectively, the nation's governors are a powerful voice in healthcare reform. As governor, Mike will work with our congressional delegation, the National Governors Association and other groups to make sure Tennessee's voice is heard in the ongoing national debate. http://www.mikemcwherter.com/Issues-Mike-McWherter-Governor-Tennessee |

http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2010/jun/01/wamp-weaves-tangled-web/ Largely, Mr. Wamp has followed Congressional Republicans on votes regarding the economy. Should he not have followed the desires of the people he was to represent?Like other members of Congress he has voted for Congressional pay increases, the last vote coming during the summer of 2009. No surprise here!Mr. Wamp has spoken of fiscal responsibility and cutting taxes, but his record on cutting spending leaves much to be desired. Apart from the spending bills of the Obama administration (stimulus and health care), Mr. Wamp did not appear to show the same restraint during the Bush administration. Mr. Wamp's troubling record on spending in a setting with a Republican majority, IS something he will have at his disposal if he wins the Tennessee Governorship. |

| I still never got an answer so let me be more to-the-point:
Since it's a known fact that all politicians lie like rugs to get/stay elected and they all work for the benefit of their pals and themselves, why will you vote this coming election? |

The reason this is so,is because the people have sit on theis asses and just let the politician get away with anything the like.People need to stay involved far beyond the election process. We can blame ourselves. |

| Basil Marceaux, a candidate for the 2010 Tennessee Governor, has surely made a name for himself. Over a viral Internet video, Americans all across the country have been introduced to this interesting character.
Unfortunately for Marceaux, being an Internet sensation has not portrayed him in the best light. Seen as a goofy personality, some people just cannot help but laugh because some of the things he has done in his lifetime are not characteristic of a respected candidate for Governor. Marceaux still wants to clear the air, and time will tell whether voters take Marceaux's campaign seriously. |
